Wanted! TWU Base Safety has an opening for a Safety Coordinator. Someone who has a passion for safety and is interested in working with the Tulsa Base Safety group. This is a full-time position and duties will include, but are not limited to: accident reviews; safety walks; being a liaison between TWU and management; lead monthly safety meetings; give safety report-outs at the TWU hall; attend Joint Safety Council meetings; and become familiar with local, state, and federal safety regulations. The Coordinator will be a resource to shop/dock safety teams; provide safety support to the members on the floor; and will provide some training. This position will be filled by the most qualified individual who will be determined through an interview process. This job is fast-paced, busy, and requires self- motivated, energetic individuals. Experience in Safety is not required but is helpful. Communication and people skills are a must, and clerical skills will be helpful.
