Pat Kinnamon
Chairman of Maintenance
Brothers and Sisters,
I would like to give an update on current events at the Tulsa Base.
We are still meeting with The Company in regards to the Recall/Reassignment identified for Hangers 3/4.
The TWU Currently has a 29D grievance filed against the Company for moving Inspection work on C-Check Card’s over to the AMT side of the Card’s. I am asking our membership to be diligent in helping us to identify any cards that may have recently changed on the latest revision 07 September 2017.
The Recent Changes to the QAM Qualifies any AMT that is currently working in the Hangers or has worked in the hangers for at least 6 months in the last 5 years, to work at the line station’s without having to test, But the AMT’s currently working in the shop’s Will be required to test.
I want to recognize everyone involved with the recent 777 engine change in Hanger 6, Great Job !!!!
The TWU NATIONAL CONVENTION starts next week. On the agenda is voting on who will be the Executive Committee for the next 4 years. This is the primary function of the Convention Delegates that our member’s elect.
President Dale Danker returns to the table on October 2nd and October 16th to fight for the final item’s that will have a profound effect on the future of the Membership at Tulsa Base. I would Ask our members to support Dale in these Efforts.
In Solidarity,
Pat Kinnamon
