Obituary for Donald Patrick Fisher

Donald “Patrick” Fisher December 15, 1955 – December 25, 2024

Donald “Patrick” Fisher, lovingly known as Pat, departed this life on December 25, 2024, at the age of 69. Born on December 15, 1955. He graduated from Nathan Hale High School in 1974.

Pat brought a unique blend of humor, love, and adventure to the world, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew him. Pat has been joyfully reunited in heaven with his beloved wife, Vickie Fisher; his mother, Lois Fisher; his brother, Michael Fisher; his grandparents; and several aunts and uncles.

Left to cherish his memory are his father, Donald W. Fisher, and his wife, Suzanne; his devoted daughter, Whitney, and her husband, Lloyd McPherson; and his bonus children, Gary Dale Wilks and Stacy Durham. Pat also leaves behind his grandchildren, Eddie, Isaiah, Kyley, Conner, and Colton. His sisters, Debbie Turner and Kelly Taves, along with Kelly’s husband, Chad; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and his beloved cats, who brought him comfort and companionship. Pat had a zest for life that was reflected in his many passions. Whether he was bowling in his younger years, hitting the golf course, cruising on his motorcycle, or cracking jokes. Pat had a way of making life interesting for those around him.

He held different jobs when he was a young adult. He spent most of his adult life as a loyal and dedicated employee of American Airlines, where he proudly worked for over 26 years, where he formed meaningful connections and took great pride in his career.

Pat was a one-of-a-kind person—he loved giving people a good-natured hard time, checking in on his daughter, and doting on his cats. His life was a mix of laughter, love, and unforgettable moments. He was deeply loved, and will be deeply missed.

Services to honor Pat’s life will be held at Floral Haven, with details to be announced.
