It is with great sadness that we share with you that Brother Lionel “Bubby” Andre has passed.
Lionel worked in the Flight Control Shop, 2051 and had been working at AA since 1998.

Lionel “Bubby” Andre was born in Chicago, Illinois on June 17, 1962 to Lee D. Andre and Audrey (Skimmeyhorn) Andre. Lionel met Helen (Blanck) Andre in the year 1975 at the age of 14. They married in 1984 before relocating to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1986, where Lionel graduated from Spartan College of Aeronautics to pursue a career in airplane mechanics. He devoted 29 years of faithful service as an airframe and power plant (A&P) mechanic at American Airlines. Lionel was a hard-working man ready to lend a hand to those that needed him. He enjoyed going on camping trips and beach vacations, drive-in movies, and doing projects with his sons. Lionel was preceded in death by his parents, Lee D. Andre and Audrey Andre; sister Rebecca “Becky” Andre; and brother Chris Andre. He is survived by the love of his life, Helen Andre; son Josh Andre, and grandson Justice Andre; son Jacob Andre, and daughter in law Ashlee (Johnson) Andre; son Eric Andre; twin sister Naomi “Nay Nay” Andre; sister Marcella Andre; sister Tina Andre; sister Leona Andre; sister Veronica “Ronni” Andre, and brother in law Lowell Yoselowitz; sister Lenny Andre; sister Monica Andre; brother Al Andre; and brother Leon Andre. Lionel passed away at the age of 55 on Friday, October 27, 2017 at 1:20 a.m. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on November 2, 2017 at Floral Haven Chapel.
