He attended NEO at Miami, OK, and OSU in Stillwater, but became an ardent OU fan, as his son Adam was an OU graduate.  He will be remembered as a “faithful, loving, and helpful husband who worked hard his whole life” and, as a father who “loved and supported his two sons without hesitation each day of their lives.”  Memorial services will be held at 1030 (10:30 am) Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at the Rejoice Free Will Baptist Church, 13413 East 106th Street North in Owasso.  Those that would like to honor Harold may do so by making memorial contributions in his memory in lieu of flowers to:  The Rejoice Foundation, 13413 East 106th Street North, Owasso, OK  74055; Cancer Sucks, P.O. Box 1091, Bixby, OK, 74008; or the BACA – Bikers Against Child Abuse, Oklahoma Chapter, P.O. Box 580084, Tulsa 74158-0084.  Arrangements and services have been entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso, www.moweryfs.com . Harold is survived by his wife, Mary Ann, his sons, Adam and Alex, his father, his brother and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and a host of friends.  Please keep the VanCuren family in your thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time.
