It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our retired brother, Billie Raymond Stout, who departed this life on December 11, 2025, at the age of 83.
Brother Stout dedicated his career to American Airlines, joining our team in 1967 and serving with distinction for over 37 years. At the time of his retirement in 2004, he held the position of Crew Chief, Aviation Maintenance Technician, a testament to his expertise and commitment to our craft.
Throughout his long and storied career, Brother Stout was a valued member of our union family, and his contributions to our collective efforts will not be forgotten. His dedication, work ethic, and camaraderie inspired countless colleagues, and his legacy will continue to inspire us in the years to come.
We ask that you keep the Stout family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. May they find comfort in the memories of Brother Billie’s life, his accomplishments, and the impact he had on all who knew him.
Rest in peace, Brother Stout. Your memory will be cherished by our union family, and your contributions to our shared history will never be forgotten.
