Memorial service for Bill Bradshaw will be 2:00p.m., Saturday, September 28, 2024, at MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel. Bill passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024. He was 88.

Billy Joe Bradshaw was born on April 24, 1936, in Senath, Missouri, to I.T. and Flora (Wheeler) Bradshaw. His educational journey took root at Beech Corner in Missouri, where, during his schooling, he worked in the local cotton fields, instilling in him a strong work ethic that would accompany him throughout his life.

Bill began his career in the airline industry while residing in Wichita, Kansas, where he worked for Boeing. After experiencing a layoff, he transitioned to a role with American Airlines in Tulsa. In addition to his professional achievements, Bill proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, where he fulfilled his duty with honor.

Bill’s personal life was profoundly enriched by his marriage to Joyce Morgan, which commenced on April 14, 1962, following a successful blind date in Wichita. Together, they recently celebrated 62 beautiful years of marriage, a testament to their enduring commitment and love.

A man of many hobbies, Bill took great joy in woodworking, tending to his garden, and listening to country music. He was a devoted father, attending all his sons’ sporting events over the years and cherishing the time spent with his family.

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Bradshaw; his sons, Tyson Bradshaw and wife Robin, and Tim Bradshaw and wife Melissa; his grandchildren, Randi Risinger and husband Josh, Brittney Bradshaw, and Brodie Bradshaw; as well as his great-grandchildren, Carson Risinger and Asher Risinger.

He was preceded in death by his parents, I.T. and Flora Bradshaw; his sister, Betty Owen; brother-in-law Norman “Moon” Owen; and niece Theresa Owen.

As we remember Bill, we celebrate a life well-lived, filled with dedication, love for family, and a passion for his pursuits. His legacy will continue to live on through the cherished memories held by all who knew him.
