
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of retired Brother Donald Devine on July 7th, 2025, a dedicated and respected member of our American Airlines family. Brother Devine retired in 2023 as a Crew Chief Aviation Maintenance Technician, capping off an illustrious career spanning nearly four decades.
Born on August 15th, 1956, Brother Devine began his journey with American Airlines in 1985, devoting 38 years of service to the company. Throughout his tenure, he demonstrated unwavering commitment, expertise, and camaraderie, earning the admiration and respect of his colleagues.
As we mourn the loss of our brother, we remember his tireless work ethic, his passion for aviation maintenance, and his kindness towards those he worked with. Brother Devine’s legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched and the memories we shared with him during his time at American Airlines.
