We regret to share with you the passing of Retired Brother Jackie Herron on May 8, 2023.
Jackie had hired on with American Airlines back in 1955. He had retired from the position of Inspector, Aviation Maintenance Technician, in 1992.

Jackie Lee Herron Sr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on May 8, 2023, at the age of 87, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Jackie was born on December 9, 1935, in Collinsville, Oklahoma to the late Martin and Florence Herron.
Jackie was a man who loved life and lived it to the fullest. His wife, children, and grandchildren were the center of his world, and he loved nothing more than spending time with them and making memories. He leaves his loved ones with unforgettable memories and loving stories. He will sincerely be missed by his loving family, devoted friends, and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved him.
Jackie was preceded in passing by his parents, Martin Herron and Florence (Davis) Herron; his brother, Ted Herron; and his grandson, Luke Horton.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Elnora Herron; his daughter, Kina Horton, and her husband, Joe; his daughter, Tracie Linkous, and her husband, Eric; his son, Jackie “Kip” Herron Jr.; his grandchildren, Garrett Horton, and his fiancé, Kayli Summers, Jackie Herron III, Levi Herron and his and his wife, Brianne Higdon Herron, Lindsey O’Dell and her husband, Josh, and Ryan Linkous; his great-grandchildren, Kolton and Scarlett; his sister, Deborah Hearn and her husband, Ora; and numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation will be 5-7 pm, Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at Floral Haven Funeral Home.
