We are saddened to share with you the passing of Brother James Pitts on April 29, 2022.
James had worked here at American Airlines since 1986 as a Material Logistics Specialist and retired back in 2017.

James’ Obituary
James “Jim” Nelson Pitts, 65 of Tulsa, passed away Friday evening April 29, 2022 at Hillcrest Medical Center with his family at his bedside.
Services for Jim are in the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service, of Sand Springs.
Jim was born on September 21, 1956 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Meurlin Lamont and Vera Mae (Alexander) Pitts. He retired from American Airlines, where he worked as a stock clerk crew chief.
Jim was married to Pattie on September 20, 1997. He enjoyed mowing, going to hockey games, watching college football, going to the casino, playing with his dogs, and taking his boat to the lake.
Survivors include is wife, Pattie; son James Nelson Pitts, Jr. of Jennings, son/nephew Christopher McNabb of Austin, TX; daughter/niece Jessika Taylor of Tulsa; step-daughters, Saresa Hansen and her husband Keith of Georgetown, TX; Cammy Mills of Tulsa; sisters, Rita Drummond and Nancy Seegren of Tulsa; two grandsons, Alex Pitts and Dakota Mills; great grandson, Waylon Smith, great granddaughter, Nayvie Smith; several nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.
Memorial services were held on Wednesday May 4, 2022, at 10 am at the Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service chapel in Sand Springs, OK
