Thomas Patrick Shouse, known affectionately as “Uncle Pat,” was born on July 11, 1967, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and passed away June 14, 2024, at the age of 56.

 He was raised in Chelsea, Oklahoma, where he attended school and graduated in 1985. Pat’s thirst for knowledge led him to pursue further education at Tulsa Technology Center and Northeastern State University. Eventually, he found his calling in aviation, earning his A & P license from Spartan School of Aeronautics, where he later shared his expertise by teaching. After Spartan Pat dedicated nearly 20 years of his career to American Airlines, where his versatility and deep understanding of various departments made him a valued asset.

Pat had a wide range of interests and passions. Apart from being the family historian, Pat was the go to guy for repairs. He had a knack for fixing things and took great pleasure in resurrecting broken items like tractors, lawnmowers, and weed eaters. Music was another love of his; he enjoyed singing and playing the guitar, with “Church In The Wildwood” being his favorite.

Yet, it was Pat’s extraordinary personality that truly set him apart. He was known for his boundless generosity, unwavering kindness, and readiness to lend a helping hand to both people and animals in need. Children fondly referred to him as Uncle Pat, and his trademark greeting, “Let Me Squeeze You,” never failed to bring smiles. His warm spirit and genuine care endeared him to all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Pat is preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Pearl (Foster) Shouse.

Survivors include his siblings, Lee Ray Shouse and wife Cathy, Suzanne Welch and husband Elmer, Scott Shouse and wife Dana, Vicky Hartman, Peggy Reihana and husband Kelly; nieces and nephews, Catee Drake, Trey Shouse, Elmer Welch Jr., Joshua Welch, Cody Welch, Ty Welch, Jordan Welch, Jerico Welch, Robbie Hartman, Danielle Johnson, Amelia Morgan, Daniel Shouse, Suzie Reihana, and Terri Shouse. Along with many other extended family and friends.
