
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our retired brother, William Joslin, on June 18th, 2025.
Brother Joslin began his tenure with American Airlines in 1967 and worked tirelessly for nearly three decades, ultimately retiring as a Crew Chief Aviation Maintenance Technician in 1996. His commitment to his profession was unwavering, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
We take this moment to honor Brother Joslin’s memory and celebrate his contributions. Our thoughts and condolences are with his loved ones during this difficult time.

William Joslin
William was born on November 11th, 1935 and passed away on June 18th, 2025 at the age of 89
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of William Alfred Joslin, fondly known as Bill by those closest to him. Born on November 11, 1935, in Hartford, CT, William’s journey of life, filled with love, laughter, and unmistakable resilience, ended on June 18, 2025.
William spent his life in the service of others, first as a member of the United States Air Force for 14 years and later as a mechanic with American Airlines for 28 years. His dedication and commitment were unwavering, and his hard work was rewarded with respect and admiration from his peers. William’s spirit extended beyond his professional life, as seen in his active participation in the American Legion and several churches throughout his lifetime. In his leisure time, William found joy in golfing, gardening, and tinkering with home repairs. His impactful kindness was felt by all, especially veterans, whom he loved helping.
William was a beacon of strength and love to his family. He leaves behind his sons, Michael Joslin and wife, Brenda of Sapulpa, and John Joslin and wife, Julie of Broken Arrow, his daughter, Kellie Schuttler and husband, David of Tulsa, stepdaughters, Kim Newport and husband, Brad of Sand Springs, and Kelly Gay of Oklahoma City, stepsons, Gary Gorsuch, and Donny Leland of Sand Springs. William is also survived by 19 grandkids and 21 great grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Joslin, parents Ralph and Virginia Joslin, his brother, Ralph Jr, and his beloved granddaughter, Mandie Gorsuch.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation at Dillon Funeral Service, 1200 North Cleveland Avenue, Sand Springs, Oklahoma, 74063, on Monday, June 23, 2025, from 5:00-7:00pm.
