The Passing of Retired Sister Louise Morgan

It is with a mournful heart that we share with you today the passing of retired Sister Louise Morgan on March 30, 2024.

Louise started working with us here at American Airlines back in 1984 as an Aircraft Cleaner and worked her way into an Overhaul Support Mechanic position, retiring in 2004.

Louise Morgan Obituary

Louise (Hall) Morgan of Sand Springs gained her wings on Saturday, March 30th, 2024. She was born on February 4th, 1944, in Porterville, California to Joe and Lottie Hall. She attended Stroud Public Schools and was a devoted Tigers fan. She retired from American Airlines after 20 years of service. She met her husband, Willard Morgan on a blind date and they married in Sapulpa, Oklahoma on March 27th, 1965.

She fulfilled her retirement by spending time with her family, the ladies of Sit and Sew class, watching OU football, and finding garage sale treasures. She loved watching the great-grandkids play sports and sharing ice cream with them. She loved to travel; her bags were packed if there was a trip.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Lottie Hall, brother Donald Jo Hall, sister Norma Jean Ausmus, and husband Willard Morgan.

She is survived by her daughters, Piper and husband Mikey Mitchell, Mindy and husband Mike Sorensen. Her grandchildren: Barrett Graham and wife Megan, Tanner Graham and wife Katherine (KC), Kylie Mae, Kylie Blackburn and husband Seth, Paige Hoover, and Peyton Sorensen. Great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life: Bentley, Cayson, Callie Jo, Knox, Hudson, Remington, Kenzie, Ella, Lexington, and one more on the way.

Also, Gary Graham, Linda Lanning, Dude Ausmus, Ron and Debbie Morgan, Kevin and LeAnn Taylor, along with a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers: Barrett Graham, Tanner Graham, Gary Graham, Seth Blackburn, Roy Morris, and Aaron McGee.

Please join us for visitation at Smith Funeral Home, on April 3rd, 2024. Public visitation is from 9 AM to 8 PM, and family will receive guests from 5 PM to 8 PM. The funeral service will be on Thursday, April 4th, 2024, at 10 AM in our chapel.
