
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Roylene Loretta Pennington on July 9th, 2025. Roylene dedicated 15 years of her career to American Airlines, starting as a Building Cleaner in 1990 and later taking on the role of Fleet Service Clerk in 1991. She retired in 2005.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Pennington family during this difficult time. We will deeply miss Roylene’s dedication and service to our union and the airline industry.

Roylene Loretta Pennington Obituary
Roylene Eaton Hamilton Pennington, age 84, passed peacefully July 9th, 2025, in Bella Vista, Arkansas. She was born September 19, 1940, in Zack, Arkansas to Roy & Faye Eaton. She was the fourth of eight children. She attended school in Marshall, Arkansas and married Norman Hamilton, also of Marshall. They had a daughter and a son. Roylene was a homemaker and a rural mail carrier in Searcy County for many years.
Later in life she moved to Oklahoma and married Al Pennington. They enjoyed traveling and keeping a beautiful home and yard. Roylene proudly worked at American Airlines in Tulsa, Oklahoma, for 10 years. Retirement brought her back to Arkansas. When her husband passed in 2015, she moved to Bella Vista, Arkansas, to be close to her daughter.
Roylene is survived by a sisters, Karen and Sandra (Carl); brother, Roy Jr (Bonnie); daughter, Debbie (Carla); son Charles Jackie); stepdaughter, Gina; grandchildren, Britney (Danny), Chalyce, Brent, Andrea; great grandchildren Karsen, Tucker, Payton, Piper, Westin, Devon, Kason, Gracee, Jax and grand kitty, Tux.
Roy was strong in her Christian faith, and she will be missed by many friends. If you were lucky enough to know her, you will miss hearing her say . . . .Thank you Jesus! I need to go to WalMart Love you more
A celebration of life for Roylene will be held Saturday July 26th, from 11 – 2 at the
