Union brothers and sisters from all around the DFW area and as far away as Miami Florida and New York participated in the DFW Protest.

There were many from other unions partaking in the event. Temperatures soared into the 100’s and that had little effect on the outcries against Corporate Greed. As I got off the Bus and looked to see
how many had showed in support, it was overwhelming, We were picketing the entire length of Terminal D. Our presence was known by all, It was loud and a visual surprise. There were reports of over 2500 Union Brothers and Sisters walking the walk and talking the talk. We we well represented!
I know the fight against inequity among our brothers and sisters is far from over.
And to American Airlines, It is better to support the country in which we originate than to leave maintenance in the hands of those with less care and concern for our safety. We are making profits, and this would not be possible if it weren’t for the sacrifices that the men and women of the TWU have given.

Thanks to all those that could attend for going the extra mile and to all my Brothers and Sisters here at Local 514 for the their support in making this happen.
Stand Strong,
Ray Wilson
