On October 24th during the OSU Homecoming Parade a tragic incident changed the lives of hundreds of Oklahomans. Two of those families were members of our TWU/AA family.
Leo Schmitz is an Avionics Tech. in Hanger 3/4. He had multiple injuries to both legs and as well as severe head injury.
Sheri Bates is the wife of AMT Paul Bates who works in Hanger 1/2. She has multiple injuries to one leg as well as severe head injury.
Both of these people are in critical condition at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
With a long recovery ahead for both of them people are asking for ways to help relieve the long distance burden.
Since they are both in ICU flowers are out of the question.
