With the FAA extension set to expire at the end of September, the House and Senate are working today to reach a final compromise on FAA reauthorization.
While the House version of FAA reauthorization would guarantee flight attendants 10 hours rest, the Senate bill would allow for just 9 hours rest.
Senate Republicans currently are pressuring lawmakers to accept their weaker provision, but the TWU knows that flight attendants need and deserve guaranteed rest, and 9 hours is not enough.
Call your Senators today and ask them to tell Senator Thune to support 10 hours of rest for flight attendants. You can use the number and script below to make the call.
