The Republican runoff election for Governor of Oklahoma is scheduled for August 25, 2026. As part of this election cycle, Oklahoma AG Gentner Drummond will visit the TWU Local 514 Union Hall this Thursday, July 9th at 3:45 p.m. to speak with our membership for approximately one hour.
This is an excellent opportunity to hear directly from Mr. Drummond regarding his vision for Oklahoma, his gubernatorial plans, and the potential impact on American Airlines employees and working families across the state. I encourage everyone who is available to attend and participate in the Q&A.
We requested multiple meeting times to accommodate our 24/7 workforce; however, the campaign was unable to provide additional slots. If you can attend, we hope to see you there. For those unable to make it, we will attempt to live-stream the meeting. If a live stream is not feasible, we will record the session and post it online for later viewing.
Additionally, we have been notified that Cyndi Munson, the Democratic nominee for Governor, would also like to meet with our membership. Once those details are finalized, we will share them so you may hear from her as well.
