Visiting Nurse Association (VNA)

Visiting Nurses Association (VNA)The Visiting Nurse Program was established to provide skilled nursing home health services to those without insurance or with limited financial resources. This program provides services to approximately 325 clients per year, averaging 8,500 total visits per year, all in the greater Tulsa area. The program is funded in part by the Tulsa Area United Way; other support comes from grants and donations. The unique business model of the Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) provides additional funding to the program from revenues earned from two fee-for-service departments, “Wellness”, and “Private Care.”

The Visiting Nurse Association of Tulsa ensures that monies spent with the VNA for such services as flu shots from our Wellness department or having in home care from our Private Care department, goes back into the community of Tulsa. Since 1981, Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) has served residents of Oklahoma as a community based provider of Home Health Services, committed to investing resources to serve the underinsured, working poor, and indigent of North East Oklahoma.

By choosing VNA as your source for Private Care, Wellness and Flu hot services, you are providing VNA the opportunity to give back and invest in our community.

On Monday, August 29, 2011 The VNA will be at the TWU Membership Meeting providing:

  • Flu Shot $22.00
  • Flu Mist $30.00
  • Pneumonia $65.00
