TWU 514 Safety is looking for someone – who has a passion for safety with the desire to help others- to apply for a full time TWU Safety Coordinator MLS (Stores) position. Applicants must be currently working in Title V MLS (Stores) to be considered.
Duties will include but not limited to:
- Accident reviews
- Safety walks
- Audits and Observations
- Liaison between the TWU and Management
- Leading monthly safety meetings
- Giving safety report outs at the TWU Membership meetings
- Attending Joint Safety Committee and Accident Prevention Council meetings
- Most importantly providing safety support to the members on the floor
This position will be filled by the most qualified applicant from Title V MLS (Stores) who will be determined by an interview process. This job is demanding, fast paced, busy and requires a self-motivated, energetic individual. Experience in safety is not required but is helpful. Communication and people skills are a must, and clerical skills will be helpful.
