President:
We have reports from around the base that the company is making up qualifications so they can by-pass you on overtime and field trips. They are doing things that are dishonest and a violation of this contract. Please work with your Union Reps in your area to expose them. I need names of Supervisors and Admin staff that are lying to you saying certain qualifications are required for you to work OT or go on field trips. I will be presenting a Presidential grievances on Tuesday Feb 28 on this issue but that will not immediately stop their dishonesty.
Do not help them continue to treat us this way. Their words remember, A mechanic is a mechanic.
File every grievance when they violate your rights to OT and Field Trips.
I can be reached 24/7 at 918-636-6089
Vice President:
Membership meetings were held yesterday. We had a good showing. The issue of having the meetings on Monday came to our attention from a member who made a motion to have the meetings on Thursday due to the majority of the membership work on Thursday not Monday. This change is on a trial basis. If the participation continues to increase the change will be made official. Our goal is to get as many members to the meetings as possible.
Dale and I will be going to the GRB Tuesday, February 28th. Dale has three Presidential grievances to present and I have a limited duty, vacation selection and facility maintenance issues to discuss.
The grievance committee and I will be attending an arbitration training session from Wednesday, March 1st – March 3rd.
As always, this board continues to work diligently to police the contract and represent our Membership.

APPLICATION MUST BE POSTMARKED NO LATER THAN MAY 1, 2023. NO EXCEPTIONS.
NOTE: The Quill Scholarship is only available to current high school seniors. If your child is not currently in their senior year of high school, they are not eligible to apply. There are no exceptions.
