President:
I traveled to Dallas this week to meet with TWU International Maintenance and Related Representative Rollie Reaves and Local 591 President Gary Schaible. We discussed several contractual issues and prioritized the order of our Presidential grievances that Rollie will submit, along with the IAM’s signature, to the Company and to set Arbitration dates. At the top of the list, as it was agreed to by all of the Union Representatives, we placed the “Dodgeball / Pickem” grievance that I wrote on your behalf here in Tulsa. I look forward to arguing the merits of this case. It’s long overdue.
Call me 24/7 if you have any questions or concerns.
Vice President:
Jay, Joe and I have been in Atlanta, GA for the MRO where we had many of our TWU 514 members competing. They all did a great job of representing Tulsa and our Local.
Our next Membership meeting will be Thursday, April 27, 2023.

Just a reminder to use My Time when you know you will not be abe to make it to work either on time or the whole shift. Do Not call the guard gate because they are not obligated to take the call or report the absence. If you need help accessing the My Time App, contact staff admin for assistance.
If someone didn’t tell you, I will. When you accept overtime, that becomes your shift. Show up so you don’t harm your fellow co-worker that didn’t get asked and could have worked. There are times when situations come up out of your control, that is where you use My Time.

I attended the MRO Americas in Atlanta, Georgia this week along with VP, Marla Johnson and Chairman of Maintenance, Joe Brown. I would like to thank our TWU members for representing American Airlines in the AMC (Aerospace Maintenance Competition). Also representing Tulsa in the competition was Tulsa Tech. We are proud to be represented by these highly skilled professionals. I believe they had eighty-four (84) teams participate this year.
I would like to thank all those who volunteered at the Family Day held at the Tulsa Gathering Place last Sunday. Thanks again to our Entertainment Committee for all the hard work put in to make this happen. It was certainly good to see everyone enjoying time with their families.
