Chairman of Facilities Maintenance:
Facilities Maintenance has recently started interviewing new crew chiefs.
Here is the way the process works, there is an interview panel made up of 2 FMG supervisors and 2 FMG union representatives that will each ask questions (a total of ten questions) to the interviewees, the panel will grade the answers from 1-5 (5 being best) interviewees must receive at least 70% to be eligible for crew chief, seniority then becomes the determining factor.

- Budgeted Headcount 316
- Headcount on LOA 6

BENEFITS:
The monthly benefits meeting highlighted one particular issue that we overlook, the under utilization of the 401K program. Overall we have a small percentage of new hires enrolled beyond the minimum. We will try to set up a date to have the Fidelity advisor come back out for in-depth conversations and the program.
NEOKCLC:
The postal service has been making plans to close the Tulsa Sorting location and have all of Eastern Oklahoma mail trucked to OKC for sorting, then trucked back to Tulsa for distribution. If they close that location it will increase the delivery time dramatically and may cost jobs. Help out by calling or emailing your local and state representative and tell them to help stop these crazy plans. The impact to prescription drug delivery could be delayed from days to weeks.
COMMUNITY SERVICE:
I would like to thank Veteran Committee member Glen Hurst and his son, also FLOC Committee member Jennifer Brown, for volunteering their time on Saturday April 6th at the Eden Village Homeless Project. They not only represented TWU514 very well , but they continue to make a difference in our community. If you would like to make that impact, visit http://www.edenvillagetulsa.org/ for more information.

- Working new and old grievances
- Preparing for a Pre-GRB meeting on Tuesday April 16th with the company
- Be sure to get familiar with MY VIEW on Jetnet. Directly under the Attendance Points Chart, there is a Performance Chart that many members do not know about. We have had a few members look at their chart, and discovered that they have had a performance counseling documented. If you search on Jetnet, you can find the Performance Counseling Guidelines. I would recommend that everyone read them and become familiar with them.
