President:

Jay Potter and I traveled to Charlotte to continue contract preparation. This week, we heard from the MTS sub-committee on concerns in their contract. Our goal is to be prepared to sit down with the company when the Association notifies them that we are ready to start.
Also, throughout the week, I get several calls from members asking questions about different contracts. I do not mind the calls, but for the majority of the calls or text messages, I respond with a picture of the language and let them know that every contract is available on Jetnet and the Local 514 website. The response I get is, “Thank you, I didn’t know it was available.”
I’m available 24/7 at 918-636-6089

Chairman of Facilities Maintenance:
There was an accident in the Fall of 2023 at the Tulsa base involving a contractor who was injured. This past Thursday, OSHA interviewed several employees, including TWU represented employees, I advised, and will continue to advise those involved to be open and honest in their interviews if they choose to participate.
Those involved chose to detail the work that facilities did and continue to do. We are proud of the work we do and aren’t afraid to show it. I wonder if AA can count on the contractors to do this.
This is a prime example of the caring support and professionalism AA receives from its TWU employees.

Daron Morgan:
We had a local grievance review meeting with our Local Executive Board to review some grievances to discuss with the company on April 16th, prior to the April GRB. I continue to work on new and older grievances.
On Tuesday, April 2nd, I was notified that the CRO management team will be canceling our Tuesday, April 9th grievance review meeting. I asked for a different date, due to the fact that we were unable to meet in March, and I was informed that we were still on for April 23rd.
We have Tulsa Oiler Football tickets available in the Grievance Office, and their 1st game of the season is Saturday April 6th.
- We have 2 remaining Tulsa Oiler Hockey games on March 5th and March 12th, and we still have plenty of tickets available in the Grievance Office
- Tulsa Driller Baseball tickets are available at the Local Union Hall only
- We are still working/planning the June 1st, 2024 Family Picnic at Mohawk Park, we are still actively seeking volunteers. The signups for this event will be on the TWU Local 514 Website.
