Local 514’s Digest for the week of April 18th, 2025

President:

TWU Local 514

Tuesday Jay Potter, Don McCormick and I started interviewing Crew Chiefs to gather information about the Presidential Grievance I filed for Tulsa concerning the crew chief and crew bid process. We will continue that process over the next months until we have reached everyone.

Also on Tuesday the Eboard met with Ed Sangricco to express concerns over the electronic bid process. It was determined that a town hall meeting was needed to visit with everyone before it goes live. If you have any uncertainty that you have your preferences set correctly please give me a call or text and we will come to you to help.

Next week, I travel to American Airlines HDQ to present grievances at the GRB.

I’m available 24/7 at 918-636-6089

Easter is observed this Sunday, and today is Good Friday.

Happy Easter

Dale Danker

Chairman of Facilities Maintenance:

Happy Easter All, and Good Friday

Currently, we are working to get SOP’s for the plating shop and all of the paint/Blast booths. You would think that after as many years as we have been doing this work, these would be readily available for every craft, but they aren’t.

Be watching for open positions in our group; there will be several posted soon.

Thank you for entrusting me to be chairman of our group, I hope I handle each and every situation with class, dignity, and a purposeful solution.

Please clock your labor in TMA.

As always, feel free to contact me at any time.

Travel season is just around the corner, so remember to get your updated Real ID by May 7, 2025, if you plan to travel by plane. If you have other federal forms of ID you are okay to move around the country by plane.

If you get a chance, check out www.UnionPlus.org for specials, events, and help designed for union members.

Many of us have been in the area for years and may remember the OKC bombing. As we get close to the 30th anniversary, talk to our new members, and let us not forget that tragic event that changed the lives of so many.
