Covid Vaccine Mandate Update
All U.S.-based team members and Latin America-based crew members have until January 4th, 2022 to submit proof of vaccination or a request for an accommodation.
It has been brought to our attention that some supervisors are telling their crews they must get the vaccine or be terminated. This is not true. If you would like to request an accommodation go to Jetnet to fill out the form.

NLRB to Issue Harsher Penalties for Unfair Labor Practices
Unlawful Firings, Interference in Union Activity Subject to Penalties
The new general counsel of the National Labor Relations Board, Jennifer Abruzzo, has issued a series of memos recently that signal a change in the NLRB’s treatment of Unfair Labor Practices. Regional offices can now use broad discretion to issue harsher penalties to employers found violating federal labor law. A September memo encouraged the regional boards to seek significant damages and to impose a wide array of “remedies available to ensure that victims of unlawful conduct are made whole for losses suffered as a result of unfair labor practices.”

Game Plan for Men’s Health: A Guide to a Healthy Life
Get a yearly checkup even if you feel okay
Talk with your doctor about tests and screenings to help detect or avoid disease and keep you healthier. Nationally, Americans use preventive services at about half the recommended rate. Visiting your doctor regularly for preventive services means many conditions and diseases that men face can be found early. Men can increase their odds of living longer by making healthy lifestyle choices.
Do Buy These Union Made Products and Services
The Union Label and Service Trades Department, AFL-CIO does its best to verify that products listed on our “Do Buy” lists are made by union members. In many cases products are made by both union employees and in non-union plants. As well, many manufacturers produce goods in the U.S. and other countries. Be sure to check product packaging for country of origin and, of course, the union label.
