MSP Progression Grievance Settlement
We already had MSP Progression in our CBA, Article 7, R. (Page 31 M&R Agreement) and it was also in our last CBA. This letter solidifies that the company will follow the agreement.
Any active MSP who has filed a grievance for an upgrade to a GSE or Facilities Maintenance Mechanic (“Mechanic”) position and had the necessary classification seniority to have been awarded the position on the bid will be provided three (3) individual options:

- April 22, 2022 Notice (Postcard) of Nominations sent out.
- May 16, 2022 Nomination Day (Membership Meetings)
- May 17, 2022 (Online, & In Writing) by 3:30pm
- May 18, 2022 Candidate Packets sent out
- May 31, 2022 Inspection of Member List, Acceptance of Nomination
- June 2, 2022 The Board of Elections meets with Candidates (8am, 1pm, and 4pm).
- June 14, 2022 Ballots Mailed to Membership.
- July 15, 2022 Ballots due on or before 5pm
- July 18, 2022 Ballots Tallied
- July 25, 2022 New Officers and E-Board Sworn in
Nomination and Election for the below listed offices and positions of the Transport Workers Union, Local 514, will be conducted by secret mail ballot in accordance with Article VIII of Local 514 By-laws, the TWU International Constitution, and the Labor Management Reporting and Disclosure Act of 1959, as amended:

TWU Air Division Represents:
The Air Division represents members at several air carriers including:
- Air Wisconsin

- Sun Country
- UPS
In addition, the Air Division has oversight for members at several U.S. government facilities, including Fort Lee, Fort Gordon, and the NASA Kennedy Space Center. The Air Division also represents members at Allied, KLM, Swissport, World Flight Services, and several other smaller facilities. The Air division is currently engaged in ‘first contract negotiations” at JetBlue for Inflight Crew Members, Kalitta Dispatch, and Spirit Guest Service Agents.
We are proud to have the trust of our members and continue to fight for the best contacts in the industry. The Air Division represents nearly every class and craft in the aviation industry: including aircraft mechanics, dispatch, facilities and ground support mechanics, fleet service, flight attendants, flight crew training instructors, flight simulator engineers, and stores members. Our non-airline locals continue to thrive and grow, adding members in dozens of different skills on government installations and private entities all over the United States.
