*The Direct Deposit deduction period for STD (both existing & newly enrolled), as well as Term Life, and other union-sponsored benefits will begin on Wednesday, Jan. 6th.
What to do ANY TIME between January 3rd and 9th:
1.Log-in to twuaaunionbenefits.com to review & find instructions for JetNet to create your LTD Direct Deposit account
(NOTE: IF YOU ARE IN LOCAL 514 OR 567, PLEASE WAIT UNTIL JANUARY 4TH).
This is a necessary step to keep your LTD policy into 2021.
2.Once logged-in, you will see your benefits page, updated to include current LTD information. IMPORTANT: Please disregard any other information about benefits other than LTD.
3.You will see a “View TWU LTD Deposit Info” button under your list of benefits. Please disregard any other links. If you recently applied for NEW LTD coverage: Underwriting will take 2-4 weeks and you will receive notification once your policy has been approved. You should not take action on this application. DO NOT PROCESS ANY NEW LTD PREMIUM UNTIL YOU RECEIVE AN APPROVAL FROM info@unionbenefitplanners.com.
4.Click on the “View TWU LTD Deposit Info” button and specific instructions as well as your direct deposit information and final Bi-Weekly LTD premium for updating JetNet will load. Follow those instructions to complete your direct deposit updates. ***ALL premiums listed on the site are Bi-Weekly. Make sure you enter the number given (which is bi-weekly) exactly as is to your direct deposit deduction in JetNet.***
PLEASE do not use any existing direct deposit account for LTD. A new account must be created for ALL Members who chose to continue their LTD coverage through the union.
