Corporal Billy McIntyre, U.S. Army, Company K, 3rd Battalion, 31st Infantry Regiment, 31st Regimantal Combat Team was lost on December 7, 1950, near the Chosin Reservior, North Korea.He was accounted for in February of 2013, and will be burried January 17th, 2014, near Carter, Oklahoma.
In honor of Corporal McIntyre’s memory and service to his country, Governor Mary Fallin has issued a proclamation ordering that all American and Oklahoma flags within Oklahoma be flown at half-staff from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
