Join the Oklahoma Military History Center in honoring our flag
The Oklahoma Military History Center in Broken Arrow, OK is hosting a Flag Day Ceremony at the Center’s museum located in the Rose District of Broken Arrow. The museum is located at 112 North Main Street in downtown Broken Arrow. Flag Day is on Friday June 14 and the ceremony will be held outdoors in the museum’s Flag Plaza at 7 PM. A ceremonial raising of the American Flag, Service Branch flags, Medal of Honor flag, Army and Air National Guard flags, and the 45th Infantry Division flag will be done by veterans representing each flag. Tulsa County District Attorney, Steve Kunzweiler will be the guest speaker for this ceremony. The ceremony is free and open to the public. The Oklahoma Military History Center, which represents all branches of the military service and has artifacts from all of America’s major wars, will be open during the day and during the ceremony on the evening of June 14.
