Safety glasses with side shields, including specialty prescription glasses, goggles or a face shield may be required for some job tasks identified by a Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) or in accordance with SSE Section 2.153 – Personal Protective Equipment Program Policy.

Safety glasses will be worn in areas/shops that have visual signage and/or floor markings requiring the donning of safety glasses. Safety Glass Kiosks will be positioned at every restricted area entrance. Breezeways and Main Aisle Ways (pedestrian traffic is clearly separated from production by walls), offices, break-rooms/areas (includes toolbox areas as necessary) and Crew Chief areas are not required safety glass areas.

DAT DAYS Leftover

Any members that had DAT days leftover from last year, by the contract:

ART23 M5 says: Any DAT vacation which has not been used by the end of the calendar year will be paid to the employee no later than four (4) weeks from January 1 in the following year. We had a worker that sent an email to TAC because their DAT days were not showing up. DAT should be paid by 1/28/22.

We have been seeing that the company has posted a separate check for Unused DAT Days and this was done on 1-28-2022.
