LETTERS OF MEMORANDUM – 1 – CITY TO CITY BID AWARDS

During the course of this round of negotiations, the Company and Union discussed the subject of travel time without loss of pay for those employees transferring by exercise of seniority on city-to-city bid awards.

During these discussions, it was agreed that the Company would make every effort, subject to the employee’s request and the needs of the service, to ensure that an employee received up to four (4) workdays off without loss of pay by arranging the employee’s days off.

It was recognized during these discussions that there may be circumstances where an employee’s days off cannot be so arranged so as to provide four (4) consecutive days off. In such cases, it will be the spirit of this letter to provide the employee as much time off as possible without loss of pay. It is further understood that the employee may choose to waive the contractual time limits for changing days off to assist in meeting the intent of this letter.

This letter can be found in the M&R JCBA – Page 203

DAT Election for Tech Ops

A couple of good documents for the upcoming vacation selection. If an employee does not select DAT then they will not be able to convert vacation weeks later for any reason. It’s covered under the FAQ.

AMFA Rebuttal

In his video, a self proclaimed AMFA organizer tried to justify AMFA’s raid. A “raid” has always been – an attempt to solicit workers belonging to or represented by another union. The AMFA organizer cannot deny that AMFA’s Assistant Director has written a letter acknowledging that they are running a raid at American.

International Vice President Gary Peterson, Youtube Video:

In this video, a known AMFA Organizer is exposed w/documented facts: bonus payout vs lawsuit, how AMFA settled their lawsuit w/Southwest exposing its mechanics & how his ongoing relationships w/management & outsourcing vendors help finance his AMFA agenda.
