Round 2

- Team members who received a Round 2 Reduction in Force (RIF) notice on Sept. 14 will be notified of their award decision on Wednesday, Sept. 30. This is a few days later than we previously communicated.
- Tuesday, Oct. 6 will be the last day on payroll for team members furloughed in Round 2.
Round 3
-
- At this time, we anticipate a third round will be necessary for M&R and MLS to process the displacements generated by the Round 2 awards.
- Team members who are impacted in Round 3 will receive a RIF notice on Wednesday, Sept. 30.
- The option window for Round 3 will open on Thursday, Oct. 1. Team members will have until Tuesday, Oct. 6 to submit their Round 3 selections in the option sheet tool on the Leaving American page.
- Team members will be notified of their Round 3 award decision on Wednesday, Oct. 14.
Given the uncertainty around the Payroll Support Program (PSP) as well as other factors, these dates may change. Please continue to check your aa.com email for the latest information. We will continue to keep you informed as the process moves forward.
Notification for team members-Award and RIF notifications will be sent to team members’ aa.com email addresses. Additionally, affected team members who are out on leave or an extended vacation will receive Round 3 RIF notifications via FedEx delivery to the address on file.
Clarification on furlough rounds-The “rounds” mentioned in furlough communications refer to rounds of the displacement process, not additional furloughs. These rounds are part of the same overall furlough that was announced back in August.

Overtime:
The new overtime language has been implemented as of Friday, September 18th. Please review Article 18, 5 a.b..
You must check the electronic system to see if you have been proffered even on your days off. The company is no longer required to notify you with a phone call unless overtime is called with less than a 12 hour notification.
Holiday Worked?
If you worked the last Holiday we have people that worked Labor Day were coded as HW, this only paid at time and a half. Please get with your Supervisor, if this is what your paycheck shows and YOU WORKED the Holiday. They will correct it.

Front Line Computer Browser Issue
The browser issue with Google Chrome not being installed on front line computers will have a temporary fix starting on September 28 , this will allow members to access the Benefit Service Center.
Long Term Disability (LTD) Switchover

For all Tech Ops and Customer Experience GSE/Facility Mechanics represented by the TWU/IAM Association From Oct. 15 through Nov. 1, 2020, Tech Ops represented team members will have the opportunity to convert earned block vacation for next year to Day At a Time (DAT) vacation using the new online DAT election tool.
