FYI: Oklahoma Absentee Ballot Voters:
(1) The Ballot Envelope is for Ballots Only. Do not place copies of your Voter ID Card, Passport or Driver’s License in the Ballot Envelope.
(2) Your sealed Ballot Envelope should be placed inside the Affidavit Envelope. Do NOT include any other documents in the Affidavit Envelope. Seal your Affidavit Envelope.
(3) You must sign & date your Affidavit Envelope. The Affidavit Envelope (Yellow line at the top) should be notarized OR you can ATTACH a copy of your Voter ID Card, Passport or Driver’s License to the OUTSIDE of the Affidavit Envelope. Do not place copies of your Voter ID Card, Passport or Driver’s License inside the Affidavit Envelope.
(4) Incapacitated persons (Pink line at the top of the Affidavit Envelope) requires (in addition to the signature of the voter), the signature of TWO Witnesses. Instead of two witnesses, incapacitated voters can ATTACH a copy of his or her Voter ID Card, Passport or Driver’s License to the OUTSIDE of the Affidavit Envelope. Do not place copies of your Voter ID Card, Passport or Driver’s License inside the Affidavit Envelope.
(5) A copy of your Voter ID Card, Passport or Driver’s License should be attached to the OUTSIDE of the Affidavit Envelope. Attach with a staple, tape, or a small amount of glue. DO NOT use a paper clip.
(6) The completed Affidavit Envelope should be placed inside the Outer Envelope. Place two regular stamps on the upper right corner and drop in the mail. Alternatively, the voter can hand deliver his or her sealed ballot in-person at their County Election Board during regular business hours. You cannot drop off a ballot for another voter.
(7) You should only attach one identity document to the outside of the Affidavit Envelope. Multiple documents are not required.
(8) If you decide to have your Affidavit Envelope notarized, it is not necessary to also include identity documents.
Important dates & information to remember about the June 30 Elections.
Voters should start seeing absentee ballots in their mailboxes the first week of June.
Last day to register to vote: Friday, June 5
Deadline to request absentee ballot: 5 PM, June 23
Early In-person voting:
Thursday, June 25, 8 AM – 6 PM
Friday, June 26, 8 AM – 6 PM
Saturday, June 27, 9 AM – 2 PM
In-Person Day of Voting:
Tuesday, June 30, 7 AM – 7 PM
An absentee ballot must be received by the county election board before 7 p.m. on election day (June 30th) to be counted.
The website below will let you see if an individual is registered to vote, their sample ballot, and the status on their absentee ballot and let you sign up to vote by mail.
