Dear Brothers and Sisters:
A recent blog appeared on the Forbes website regarding American Beacon; this has generated a number of questions concerning American Beacon and our AA pension plans. American Beacon manages American’s defined benefit pension plans and offers funds in the American 401(k) plans.
We want you to know that TWU is reviewing this issue and that President Little has already pressed American for information regarding American Beacon and asked American to respond to questions raised by the blog. American indicated that it will provide an overall response soon. We will pass this along once we receive it and will continue to monitor the situation.
