It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brother Donald Ray Drury, who left this world on May 15th, 2025, at the age of 80.
For over three decades, Don served with distinction in the aviation industry, dedicating his life to maintaining the safety and efficiency of air travel. As an Aviation Maintenance Technician, he brought his expertise and passion to countless aircraft, ensuring their optimal performance and reliability.
In 2002, Don became an Inspector at American Airlines, a position he held with great pride and distinction. He had joined the airline in 1988. After dedicating 28 years to American Airlines, Don retired in 2016, leaving a legacy of commitment, expertise, and camaraderie.
Don will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and the entire aviation community. His passing leaves a void in our lives, but we take comfort in knowing that he lived a life filled with purpose, passion, and service to others.
Rest in peace, Don Ray Drury. Your memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew you.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Donald Ray shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Donald Ray farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel (9110 N Garnett Rd, Owasso, OK 74055).
