The Passing of Retired Brother Thair Truesdale

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our retired brother, Thair Truesdale, on February 22, 2026. Brother Truesdale was a dedicated and respected member of our union family, serving as a Crew Chief Aviation Maintenance Technician until his retirement in 2025.

Born on January 15, 1958, Brother Truesdale began his career with American Airlines in 1991, devoting over three decades to ensuring the safety and excellence of our aviation maintenance operations. His tireless work ethic, expertise, and leadership earned him the admiration and respect of his colleagues, who will deeply miss his presence.

As we mourn the loss of Brother Truesdale, we also celebrate his life, legacy, and the countless contributions he made to our union and the industry as a whole. His dedication to our craft and his commitment to the well-being of his fellow workers serve as a shining example for us all.

We take comfort in the knowledge that Brother Truesdale’s memory will continue to inspire us, and his impact on our lives will never be forgotten. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time.
