TULSA, Okla., Nov. 22, 2011— The Tulsa 66ers, Tulsa Transport Workers Union and the Tulsa Dream Center are teaming up this holiday season to host a toy and coat drive. The organizations are asking for new toys and coats that will be distributed to families in the Tulsa area.Those interested in donating can drop off items at the Transport Workers Union Local 514 center, located at 11945 East Pine Street, Tulsa, 74116. Donations are welcome on weekdays until 5 p.m.
The Tulsa 66ers will also be collecting toy and coat donations at their home opener on Dec. 3 inside the Tulsa Convention Center, beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the main concourse. Those making donations will receive one raffle ticket per donation for chances to win prizes during the game.
