TWU Local 514 Members have an opportunity to Help Tornado Victims

There are 3 U-haul trailers setup at the main gate area to collect items for families affected by the recent tornadoes in Missouri and Oklahoma. They will be accepting items from 8am to 6pm this Friday and Saturday. If you will be attending the AAEAA Picnic, please bring an item.

Items currently in need are:

Other items such as clothes, coats and jackets and camping equipment will also be accepted.
Note: please do not bring items that are ripped, torn or in need of repair.

Another item in great need is volunteers. People are needed to help clean up areas before rebuilding can begin. Therefore, sign-up sheets will be located in the trailers for people who would like to volunteer some time in the near future and who are willing to help clean-up debris from houses and neighbor hoods affected by the storms.

Heart of Missouri United Way is helping to raise awareness, coordinate relief and raise disaster relief funds. Text-to-Give: Text JOPLIN to 864833 to give a gift of $10 to the disaster relief effort.

To donate $10 to the American Red Cross, text the word “REDCROSS” to 90999 or donate online at www.american.redcross.org

Checks will be accepted at the trailers payable to “United Way” or “American Red Cross.”
