Joint Negotiations kick off with the IAM
The TWU/IAM will meet July 6, 2015, in Maryland at:

Local 514 representatives in Maryland will be President Dale Danker, and MCT Chairman Jason Best.
In addition, Dale Lantz (Title II Chairman) & Pat Bax (Title V Chairman) will be at the table when the Association engages in direct negotiations with the company.
Online Transfers:
The “Electronic Transfer and Bid System” letter dated February 4, 2015 completed the requirements as called out in, M&R att. 12.2, MLS att. 12.11, and FSC att. 12.3. This letter is available online at the TWU 514 website under the Member Center drop, Documents, Agreements or the above link. There are some key elements in this letter that need to be pointed out.
- The list of candidates will be Dynamic while it is posted.
- The Transfers will close on a Friday at 23:59 CST.
- Any employee whose name appears on the list Friday after it closes may remove his name from the list before Sunday 23:59 CST.
- If an employee does not remove his name from the list and is qualified he will be considered to have accepted the transfer and will be forced to relocate.
This is an ongoing issue that you need to be aware of because members are being forced to complete the Transfer and there is no contract language that can overturn the transfer you requested. When you remove your name from a Transfer, print out your retraction verification as proof and then logout and back in to verify the changes are effective.
