On April 28th, 2014 President Dale Danker filed an Article 29D Grievance against the company for violation of our CBA.
This pertains to transfer suspension and the movement of the surplused mechanics. (Actual Grievance language below)
On Wednesday, April 23, 2014 we were informed by the Company that they are suspending the Tulsa Transfer Memorandum (12.1), (j) of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. We were not informed of the decision in advance and did not have the ability to fully discuss the movement and selection process of the surplused Mechanics. As Local 514`s accredited Union representatives, we have a right to be fully informed and have a voice in the decisions regarding our members and their rights. This is a violation of the AA/TWU Agreement and Letter of Memorandum 14 Business Improvement Process. Therefore, I am filing a Presidential 29(d) Grievance of behalf of our members. I grieve that the Company will comply with the AA/TWU Contract and the Letter of Memorandum 14 on all business improvement decisions as outlined in Letter of Memorandum 14.
