Tracy Hardin:

We are all aware that the Association is gearing up for contract negotiations in the near future. To help you become an informed member, try a few of these tactics.

  • Engage in conversations with your union representatives either shop steward or e-board member.
  • Seek guidance on questions you don’t have the answer to.
  • Ask questions so they don’t become rumors.
  • Attend as many meetings as you can to gain the correct information.

The Northeast Oklahoma Labor Council has been working hard with fellow labor unions in this part of the state during this primary election season. There are many primary races that have no opponents from one side or the other, so those positions have been decided by affirmation. The races that have multiple opponents the council has conducted meetings and endorsed Labor friendly candidates. If you can support, please do.

  • I will be on Block VC next week, but I will have my phone on, and my laptop with me, so if you need to reach out to me, feel free to do so.
