Chairman of Facilities Maintenance:

This week I attended the quarterly GSE/Facilities update given by the company in Dallas, the day before I met with the association on the union’s questions to the company.

The company is currently implementing a plan to track the rentals throughout the system and limit their use.

Roy Fonseca gave his report on the current status of the AA system projects.

The union expressed concern over Corporate Real estate not attending any RO meetings, doing as they see fit and their lack of oversight.

If you notice contractors doing “your work” it is my opinion you should contact a union representative in your area and file a grievance.

It’s nearly time for contract negotiations with the company, and we are doing everything we can to make sure your facilities maintenance group is represented well.

As always feel free to contact me.

The 2023 Tulsa Veterans Day Parade will be held on November 10, 2023 at 11am. The parade will line up at 1109 E. 6th St. with a fly over to begin at 11am. Come out to support and be a part of something special.

We have made this announcement before but I want to remind everyone. The 2024 Annual Benefit Enrollment window will be available October 12 thru November 3rd. The TWU benefits team will be available starting October 16 thru November 3rd. Take the time now to go into JetNet and print a copy of your current medical coverage just in case you have questions. While you are on the site, look at your beneficiaries in case you need to make changes. If you do these simple steps now, your enrollment experience will be that much easier.
