COVID 19:
To all,
If you are working, the first step to keeping safe in the workplace is to protect yourself.

- Wear PPE
- Wash your hands whenever possible.
- When you get Home, Take your work clothes, put them in the washer and take a shower before interacting with your family.
Common items we use and may not pay attention to:

- Desk Phone
- Keyboards and ‘mouse’s
- Touch Screens
- Wallet, Money , Credit cards, Debit Cards
If you feel as though you are coming down with the symptoms, Call in Sick. You need to let someone know that you are self quarantining.
It is all of our responsibility to help keep each other safe from this virus.
If we do not take this seriously. We will harm ourselves and others, including the ones you love.

The March 2020 JCBA Ratification.
As you all should know, we are now under the March 30, 2020 Joint Collective Bargaining Agreement (JCBA)

- This Agreement will supersede and take precedence over prior Agreements, Letters, local side agreements, practices, and exceptions whether written or unwritten and similarly related documents executed between the Company and the Association prior to the signing of this Agreement.

Probationary Employees
We have finally gotten some clarification on the probation issue and the new JCBA opposed to the Old JCBA. From March 30th 2020 forward, Probation will be 90 Work Days.
The 90 “Work Days” do not include “Training Days.”

Reclassified Type 6 Tooling
Vice President Kendal Anderson and Myself met with Stacey Brown, Josh Voss, Bryan Beene, The company said they wanted to re-classify the six employees in that work group. Of the six employees, 2 would be re-classified as Machinist, 3 as Base AMT, 1 as Welder effective March 30th 2020.

Dues payments while out on illness, injury or layoff
Article XVII, Section 4(a), [Any member who is prevented by illness, injury, or layoff from earning any wages in a calendar month shall be excused from paying dues for such month and such nonpayment shall not affect his good standing. For the purpose of this paragraph, the word “Wages” shall be construed to include any monetary compensation, totaling seventy-five (75%) percent or more of the member’s regular monthly income from his/her employment, payable to an ill or injured worker under applicable law, and/or pursuant to a collective bargaining agreement. …]
