Changes to how you’ll be paid for retro adjustments in the new payroll system
The legacy American Airlines payroll system processed retro adjustments daily, so if you had an adjustment to the hours you worked, you’d receive an off-cycle paycheck within a few days. As part of the transition to our new payroll system, we’re aligning how we pay out retro time adjustments and you’ll notice a change to when those payouts are made.
What’s the new process?
Any adjustments made to prior period Workbrain timesheets will still be processed daily but our new payroll system will pay out those adjustments on your next scheduled pay date. Remember that any changes or updates to timesheets should be submitted to your timekeeper in the same pay period they occur. Changes to prior timesheets should be rare, and if necessary, submitted promptly in order to keep your pay timely and accurate.
You’ll receive your first paycheck from the new system May 7 for the pay period April 19–May 2.
