Dear Brothers and Sisters,
In our last session of Negotiations that concluded last Friday, the stores Negotiating Committee made the decision to pass all of the remaining articles to the Company.
On Thursday, March 10, the Stores Negotiations Committee met with the Company to pass the last 9 articles. The articles that were passed to the Company included:
* Article 47 – (Duration of Agreement)
I want to remind our membership that this is our proposal to the Company. We will more than likely get a counterproposal from the company. We do not expect the Company to agree to our proposal in its entirety, but we do expect considerable movement from the position they had in the failed Tentative Agreement.
