It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Willie Yarbrough, who departed this life on January 9th, 2026. Brother Yarbrough was a dedicated member of our Union family and a loyal employee of American Airlines, serving our company with distinction from 1968 until his retirement in 1996 as an Aviation Maintenance Technician.
Born on February 26, 1933, Brother Yarbrough spent nearly three decades contributing to the success and safety of our operations. His commitment, expertise, and camaraderie touched countless lives within our Union and at American Airlines, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and dedication.
We extend our deepest condolences to the Yarbrough family during this difficult time. May they find strength in the love and support that surrounds them, and may they take comfort in the knowledge that Brother Willie’s memory will live on through us.
