Ladies and Gentlemen,the remains of CW2 Wann MIA Helicopter pilot shot down 1 June 1971 Vietnam, will be coming to Tulsa International Airport 12:10 pm American Airlines flight 1682, Wednesday, 18 August 2010.

This is the year on the Vietnam Veteran. We can not miss this opportunity to honor an American hero. I will be in LA for a International Veterans Committee meeting. However I do get emails on my phone.

I NEED YOUR HELP getting our HONOR GUARD there to greet the plane. I can still contact Motorcycle people outside AA.

Soldiers Missing in Action from Vietnam War Identified

I’m leaving for Hawaii on Sunday 8/15 to be the special escort, also attend the Repatriation Ceremony will be in Hawaii (JPAC- http://www.jpac.pacom.mil/ ) We will be arriving into Tulsa – on American Airlines Flight 1682 Wednesday August 18, 2010 arrival time is 12:10 PM (afternoon). To the family members and comrades/friends of my dad please let me know if you will be meeting the plane, I need to give my CAO a head count of those who will need a pass on the tarmac. Those who want to be in the escort from the airport to Muskogee Funeral Home please contact Kay Guynes for details.

I wanted to thank everyone for the emails & phone calls, i’m so blessed to hear from guys in the 128th Tomahawks/Gunslingers friends that flew with my dad on his 1st tour of Vietnam, D/158th Redskins, also the 158th Phoenix and 158th Lancers friends/comrades in his 2nd tours of Vietnam. Also guys that serviced with my dad in the Navy as a Photographer with the Seabees I thought I’d share this mission my dad was the Photographer on “Operation Deep Freeze” I have learned so much more about him and seeing all the picture in my mom photo album putting the pictures together with the missions, it’s putting the pieces of his life together. I feel so blessed with the out pouring, I’m overwhelmed with joy and happiness. I’m looking forward to meeting all of you guys, setting down and hearing all the stories, seeing your pictures. THANK YOU!!!!

I have asked Kay Guynes to coordinate and organize all the riders/cars anyone that would like to help in escorting my dad from the airport to the funeral home/cemetery. I wanted to personally thank all the motorcycles riders/Vets/POW-MIA organizations/concerned citizens for helping with the escorting my dad from the airport/cemetery/flag line in welcoming my dad home to rest.
