Union Hall Restoration
We have been moving along on the restorations since the July 10th water line break. All the sheet rock work is complete. We have had the painters this week and we hope to have carpet by next week.

Last week Dale and I went to headquarters for the GRB. We received settlements for two and still waiting on the presidential grievance answer. While I was there I sat with the MCT’s. They do a great job supporting all the TWU members across the system.
We continue to work grievances and will be reaching out to some of you for more information.

You may have noticed the construction on the west side of Hangar 5, We are currently replacing all of the Tarmac on the base, in phases, so not to interfere with operations. Heavy equipment and construction trucks are going in and out of gate #13 so please be aware while crossing this area.
-We have recently hired a plumber, and he is headed to the Hangars after orientation.

November 11 is Veterans Day. The Tulsa Veterans Day parade will be held in downtown Tulsa beginning at 11am. The will long list of events being held across the city including a breakfast at the VFW #577 and a wrap up lunch at the American Legion Post #1. We are asking for everyone to come out to show your support, veteran or civilian. The theme this year is:

The Northeast Oklahoma Labor Council:
September 29 – October 9 – The Tulsa State Fair will be held at the fairgrounds corner of 21st. & Yale Ave. The Labor council will have a booth there and each night a different labor union will be available to explain and recruit new members. The TWU will once again have the opening and close dates. We will need volunteers from the union to help man our dates. Please recruit our new members because this is a great opportunity for membership involvement. Fair tickets will be provided for all volunteers. This local needs to start getting volunteers and giveaways now!
AAERO Engine World has just completed their series of mini shop meetings between the crew and management. The intent is to stay ahead of issues before things get out of control. As they bring concerns or ideas forward, they try to address them and answer by the next round of meetings. Keep the open dialog.

Hangars 5 and 6
Hgr 5/6 had a visit from Tulsa Police Department Canine units Thursday. With the recent flight diversions to Tulsa last week, they decided their dogs needed to get some training on the 777 and 787 fleets. They will be back on September 15th with future dates in the works.
Spoke with 5/6 Management and they confirmed the dock plan for Hgr 5/6 will include 1- 777 line and 1- 787 line for 2023 plus 1 additional 787 line starting sometime mid 2023.
Hangars 1, 2 and 3
In Hangars 1/2/3 I Met with Stacy Brown and am working on Verbal Overtime Proffers for docks 1C/1D over the past 6 weeks. They will get with Tulsa Admin early next week to see who should have been proffered.
Crew Schedules and Grievances
Met with Stacey Brown talked about grievances & new crew schedules. Gene & I met with Mike Stearns on TCC grievances . We are available in the Grievance office starting at 5:00 am if anyone has issues.

Collinsville Athletics would like to recognize and congratulate the Athletic Hall of Fame class of 2022. This year’s class is made up of 8 amazing athletes, coaches, and supporters. This is the 2022 class in no particular order; Paul Hollon, Clint Swango, Gary Yingst, Roberta Kickapoo, Joe Shoulders, Felix Keith, Stan Irvin, and Bob Schultheiss. The induction ceremony will take place Friday, October 21, during halftime of the varsity football game vs. Grove. Congratulations again to these Cardinal greats, and as always, It’s Good to be a Cardinal!
